This Privacy Notice for Hugent ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we access, collect, store, use, and share personal information when you use our services ("Services"), visit hugent.in, or engage with us in other related ways.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you contact us, request a demo, register for an account, or use our Services. This may include names, phone numbers, email addresses, clinic details, account credentials, and messages you send us.
We may also collect device, usage, and log information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, and the dates and times of activity.
2. How do we process your information?
We process information to provide, improve, and administer our Services; respond to enquiries; manage accounts; confirm and support appointments; maintain security; prevent fraud; and comply with applicable law. We may process information for other purposes with your consent.
3. When and with whom do we share personal information?
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, support, communicate about, or improve the Services. We may also share information during a merger, sale of assets, financing, acquisition, or where required by law. We do not sell personal information for money.

6. How long do we keep your information?
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this notice, to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, or security requirements. When no ongoing legitimate need remains, we delete or anonymize the information where reasonably possible.
7. How do we keep your information safe?
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No electronic transmission or storage technology can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so use the Services within a secure environment and understand that transmission is at your own risk.
8. Do we collect information from minors?
We do not knowingly collect or market to children under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at admin@hugent.in so we can take appropriate steps.
9. What are your privacy rights?
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, review, correct, update, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise an available right. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.

13. How can you review, update, or delete your data?
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing admin@hugent.in. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request and may retain information where required by law.
14. SMS and WhatsApp messaging: opt-in and opt-out
Hugent sends transactional and appointment-related messages to patients via SMS and WhatsApp on behalf of enrolled clinics. These may include booking confirmations, reminders, queue updates, check-in notifications, and responses to patient-initiated queries. No promotional messages are sent without a separate explicit opt-in.
How you opt in
- Starting a conversation with a clinic’s Hugent WhatsApp number.
- Submitting an online booking form with messaging consent.
- Providing your phone number to a clinic with consent for appointment communications.
How to opt out
- Reply STOP to an SMS or WhatsApp message.
- Email admin@hugent.in with your registered phone number.
- Ask clinic staff to remove you from automated communications.
Message frequency depends on appointment activity. Standard SMS and data rates from your carrier may apply. Hugent does not charge patients for messages received.
